I was raised on a small farm in the Yakima valley in central Washington state. I got a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. The Vietnam War was winding down about that time, so instead of jumping into the industry, I returned home to the farm. When my dad retired and moved to Arizona I followed. I’ve lived in Phoenix AZ and worked for the US Postal Service until l retired. I almost got a Master’s degree is computer science from Arizona State College, but I’ve never done much in that field. My biggest claim to fame is my trainer program I wrote for the Color Computer by Radio Shack, so people could train for their jobs in the Post Office. I bought several Color Computers and had a good time traveling all around town setting them up in people’s houses.
